A PROPERTY in Haydon Wick was targeted by burglars at the weekend.
An unknown number of offenders broke into a house in Mellow Ground at around 2.30am on Saturday, February 18 and stole a wallet containing cash and cards and a set of car keys.
They then reversed the owner's car off the drive and collided with a nearby lamp post before abandoning the vehicle.
PC Jeffrey Smith said: "We'd like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in this residential area in the early hours of Saturday.
"Perhaps the collision with the lamp post woke you or did you see anyone running in this area around this time?
"If you can help in anyway please contact me."
