Police are appealing for witnesses after a young teenage boy had his bicycle stolen.

The incident happened sometime during the afternoon/evening of Friday, January 13, outside McDonald's on Wharf Green in the town centre.

It was reported that there was some sort of altercation after which the bike was stolen.

Police have issued a picture of the bike, although they said it may have been scratched at the rear end to make it look older.

A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: "If you can help with our enquiries, perhaps you saw the incident outside McDonald's, please contact Detective Constable Rachel Catling on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555111."
