RESIDENTS of Stratton St Margaret have been urged to attend the parish council’s annual assembly to hear all the things the council has been doing during the past year.

The event will provide the perfect platform for residents to ask questions about any parish issues that concern them.

This year’s assembly will feature presentations from councillors, community grant recipients and a fundraising cheque is being awarded to children’s leukaemia charity CALM.

Following the formal presentations and speeches there will be an open evening for residents to exchange ideas and make connections with other people in the community.

Exhibitors include Stratton Camera Club, Stratton Community Art Group, Stratton Open Spaces Management, Neighbourhood Planning and the Grange Leisure team.

There will also be tasty samples from the new bar menu and an opportunity to find out more about Grange Leisure Centre tours.

The event will take place on Tuesday, April 25 from 7.00pm in the Stratton Suite in Grange Leisure.

Any questions may be emailed in advance to the Clerk to the Council, at clerk@strattonstmargaret.gov.uk or by calling 01793 823761.
