THERE’S a lot of chocolate around at this time of year! Try these simple but delicious chocolate pots topped with some crushed amaretti biscuits. The recipe makes 8-10 pots.
7 egg yolks 1 pint cream 2oz sugar 70g melted chocolate Packet of amaretti biscuits Lightly beat the sugar and egg yolks together.
Boil the cream and add to the egg mix. Reheat on the stove, whisking until the mixture reaches 80C.
Remove from heat and pour over the chocolate.
Pass through a sieve and pour into pots and refrigerate until set.
Crush up some amaretti biscuits and sprinkle on top to serve.
