A WOMAN was left shaken after a man indecently exposed himself in broad daylight on Tuesday.

The incident happened between 4.10pm and 4.20pm as the woman was walking in Abbeymeads Park, near to Tracy Close.

A man then approached her and exposed himself.

The woman, who then ran off, was unhurt but was very shaken by the incident.

The man is described as white, in his late-30s, 5' 8" tall, of skinny build; he had a full black beard and was wearing dark blue jeans and a light grey hoody.

PC Matt Shutt said: "The victim believes there were a number of people in the park at the time and may have seen this happen - if you were there please contact me.

"I'd also like to speak to a female whom the victim spoke to - she's described as white, 5' 6" tall, of skinny build with brown hair in a ponytail and wearing black clothing.

"If that was you, please come forward too."

Anyone with information that could help the police with their investigation, contact PC Matt Shutt on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
