POLICE want help identifying a group of teenage hooligans it is thought are behind a series of antisocial incidents in Cricklade in the space of one night.

Dugouts on the football pitches at the leisure centre were set on fire, a fence panel was snapped off and burned near Fairview Fields and a traffic cone was damaged outside Green Gable Surgery.

Royal Wootton Bassett and Cricklade Police said: “There are a number of youths we would like to identify so we can eliminate them from our enquiries.”

The incidents happened between 6pm on May 9 and 8am the following morning and the youths involved are thought to be aged between 15 and 19 years old.

They want to talk to:- a boy aged 16-18 of small or medium build, with dark hair, wearing a grey hoodie, black joggers and black trainers with white laces; a boy of a similar age, medium built with shaved or short brown hair, a dark hoodie, dark joggers and grey trainers with white stripes and another 16 to 18-year-old of small to medium build, short brown hair in a black and red body warmer, black long-sleeved top with a white stripe down one arm, dark blue joggers and black trainers with a white sole.

The others sought include a boy in the same age bracket of small build in a black padded coat, grey hoodie, light coloured jeans and black trainers with a white sole; a male aged 16 to 19, of small to medium build, wearing a dark grey hoodie and black joggers or jeans and three girls aged 15 to 18 – one medium to large build in a Parka coat, grey joggers and dark trainers, one of medium build in a light coloured jacket, dark jeans or leggings and white shoes and the third of small build with long brown hair tied back, a blue denim jacket with a beige fluffy collar, dark jeans and black trainers.
