PROMOTER Josh Adams is now helping the team leading the revolution of Level III nightclub in Swindon.

He has teamed up with owners Susan Kalies and her business partner Paul Reynolds to put Level III on the map as a prestigious music venue.

Paul said: “I’ve always wanted to run Level III, with it being one of the region’s most beautiful music venues.

“In recent months it really feels like we’re going places, more people are coming and the shows we’re booking are getting better and better.

“I’d like to thank all of the team for their hard work and dedication.”

Since coming on board in November Josh has already organised gigs headlined by UK Subs and Mark Chadwick from The Levellers.

He attracted the attention of ITV to win the chance to host an audition for The Voice UK and he has a number of top artists coming up, including Dub Pistols, Goldie Looking Chain and, his tip for the top among the up and coming artists, WSTR.

“We also have the band Inheaven, whose lead singer Chloe Little is a Swindon girl,’’ said Josh.

During the last few months Inheaven has notched up airplay on BBC Radio One and they have supported Blossoms and Circa Waves on UK and European tours.

Josh was born in Swindon and attended Kingsdown School and then New College before studying at Southampton University.

The promoter did some freelance work for Kids Of Dada, and various online music magazines.

“While I was at uni I started putting on shows that all sold out, bar one, at the Alexandra Beer Emporium,’’ said Josh.

After university he returned to Swindon and set up his own music PR business, working from home.

He has been operating for a year working on campaigns for Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music, DIY Maybe, and BBC Introducing.

Josh joined the Level III team after he gave a pal a helping hand when he stood in for him as a promoter.

One of the owners, Susan, saw the way he handled things and brought him on board.

osh said: “External promoters have been absolutely crucial in getting Level III back on its feet again. Their individual dedication, love and musical expertise has been priceless over these past few months, we simply couldn’t have done it without them.”
