InHeaven, led by Swindon singer and bass player Chloe Little, have scooped a slot at the famous Glastonbury Festival this year.

The indie rock band have firmly planted their roots in the British music industry this year, winning a number of prestigious gigs including Wychwood Festival, Truck Festival, headline slot at Bath University, support slot with Sundara Karma, Reading Festival and now the big one, Glastonbury and Chloe is thrilled.

"We were lucky enough to play a small stage at Reading last year but this year we are playing the NME/ Radio 1 stage in front of 20,000 people. Radio 1 have been very supportive and now we have Glastonbury,'' said Chloe, who was sworn to secrecy until the line-up had been officially announced.

The singer, now based in London, but with family still living in the area, is a staunch supporter of her home town and has arranged a Glastonbury warm up gig at Level lll in Commercial Road, Swindon on Thursday, June 22.

"I remember it when it was The Furnace. I went to it and played in it,'' she said.

They will be supported by YVES and Misfires.

Chloe attended Shaw Ridge and Bradon Forest schools, took her A levels at Cirencester College before studying History of film at Kings College London.

She began writing music at 15-years of age and joined Swindon Young Actors, Swindon Rock School, Janice Thompson School, Tanwood and Swindon Academy of Dance.

"They all helped me get where I am now, Rock School gave me confidence to do this, and I owe Mollie Tanner a lot too, she taught me performance skills, she said.

InHeaven, who supported Blossoms on their UK tour, got together two years ago when Chloe met fellow band leader, vocalist and guitarist, James Taylor.

"We found we had similar tastes so decided to give it a go. We played loads of gigs, and it's a great feeling,'' said Chloe.

Joining James and Chloe in the band are Jake Lukas on lead guitar and Joe Lazarus on drums.

InHeaven have received Radio 1 air play for their singles Treats and Vultures and are releasing their debut 12-track album on September 1 and they hope to play a number of instore HMV gigs up and down the country including Swindon.
