The world premiere of a new drama by award winning writer Hannah Khalil is being presented in Swindon as part of Refugee Week 2017.
The Scar Test is based on the stories of detainees at the notorious Yarl’s Wood Immigration Centre, where women and asylum seekers go through the process of immigration control. The Scar Test is where inmates are put through procedures to determine whether or not they have undergone torture in their home countries.
The gritty drama is presented by the Soho Theatre at The Bohemian Balcony, Jennings Street, Rodbourne, in Swindon, on Monday, June 26 and Tuesday, June 27 from 7.30pm. Tickets are £8 and £6 concessions from 07718 905387 or www.thelittleboxoffice.com/bohemianbalcony
