WILTSHIRE Police is appealing for information to identify a man officers would like to speak to after a handbag was stolen from a West Swindon pub.

The incident happened around 9am on Wednesday, May 24, at the Village Inn, Shaw Village Centre, Ramleaze Drive.

An unknown suspect took the bag while the victim was working indoors.

The handbag contained a number of items including a mobile phone, diary, house and pub keys.

Police would like to speak to a man caught on CCTV in relation to this incident.

PC Nathan Martin said: “This is a busy area, especially at this time of the morning - someone should have seen or heard something suspicious.

“If you recognise the man in the picture or can help with our enquiries in any way, please contact me.”
