A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted kidnapping
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted kidnapping.
Following an incident in Ashton Keynes on Saturday, where a nine-year-old girl was grabbed by a man in the Park Place area of the village, officers have now arrested a 24-year-old local man on suspicion of attempted kidnapping.
He is currently in custody.
Police enquiries are continuing and officers are still appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: "If anyone heard or saw anything suspicious in the Park Place area of Ashton Keynes around midday on Saturday, please contact police on 101."
