A 40-year-old man who is accused of assaulting his mother has been released on bail by a judge.
Richard Ayres, of Pinnocks Place, Stratton, is said to have committed actual bodily harm on Saturday June 24.
No charge has formally been put to him and he has yet to enter a plea to the allegation.
Judge Robert Pawson released him on bail to live at an address in Kingshill Road, abide by a curfew, and stay out of an area of Swindon.
