BUDDING entrepreneur Samantha Whittingham has made her first hire for her expanding web-based business offering branded cakes, cookies and cupcakes to companies across the South West.
Samantha, 28, created Corporate Cakery, based in Swindon, in March 2016 after spending her early twenties supplying cakes to families and domestic customers.
As the business has grown, Samantha has recently welcomed Leigh Hancock, 46, to Corporate Cakery. Leigh, a mum of 11-year-old twin boys, who lives in Blunsdon.
She said: “When I met Samantha what first struck me about the company was her passionate focus on her ethical stance in using environmentally friendly products. I was also impressed Corporate Cakery sources products from local businesses.
“Every day I go to work smiling because I’m off to make cakes! Baking is such a magical process. Using the Corporate Cakery formula, we create delicious beautiful gifts using only the highest quality ingredients.
“I’m excited about what will happen with the bakery. Samantha is dedicated to growing her business and ensuring we provide customers with what they want.”
