A 40-year-old man who threatened to kill his mother has been released on bail by a judge.
Richard Ayres, of Pinnocks Place, Stratton, pleaded guilty to making the threat on Saturday June 24.
He pleaded not guilty to actual bodily harm on Roberta Ayres and prosecutors said they would not seek a trial on that count.
Judge Robert Pawson adjourned the case to Friday August 18 and released him on conditional bail until then.
He told him to live at an address in Kingshill Road, abide by a curfew, and stay out of an area of Swindon.
