OLD Town’s parking problems will be discussed at a public meeting this evening.
Swindon Borough Council want to hear the views of residents, business owners and shoppers on the matter.
Kris Talikowski, deputy chair of the Old Town Business Association, said: “Parking in Old Town is becoming the most contentious issue – as daytime businesses want free short-term parking, and night-time business struggles with more space.
“We need to create new solutions that work for residents and businesses.”
The public meeting will be held at the Arts Centre in Devizes Road tonight from 5-7pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
