Drivers warned of heavy traffic on Swindon Road, Gipsy Lane and the A419
Motorists are being advised to expect some heavy traffic on key commuter routes in town this morning.
There is currently heavy traffic on Swindon Road at Royal Wootton Bassett, as well as slow traffic on the A419 and Gipsy Lane/Bridge End Road.
There are also temporary traffic lights on the B4006 Whitworth Road to allow gais main work to be carried out, while there are stop and go boards on the B4534 Lady Lane in Blunsdon St Andrew for the same reason.
Akers Way remains closed due to roadworks and there is one lane closed on the A3102 due to roadworks on the roundabout.
Temporary traffic lights are also in place on the A417 Lechlade Road due to telecoms work, as well as the A420 at Shrivenham.
