A ROYAL Wootton Bassett man has pleaded guilty to making and distributing indecent images and videos of children.
Benjamin David Symons, 33, of Buxton Way, indicated a plea of guilty to creating a total of 54 indecent pictures and videos of children when he appeared at Swindon Magistrates' Court last month.
Fourteen of these images were found to be category A images – the most serious.
The images were made between March and September last year.
Symons also indicated a guilty plea to a charge of distributing six indecent images of children.
He will be sent to Swindon Crown Court for sentencing.
Symons, who was granted bail, was ordered not to have unsupervised contact with children under 16 in a private place.
