A PEDESTRIAN died in a crash on the A419 near Blunsdon last night.
The 31-year-old man was in the southbound carriageway at just after 9.30pm when a grey Saab 93 travelling south collided with him.
He died later in hospital. The woman driver of the car was not injured.
PC David Williams said the road was closed for three hours to allow specialist officers to investigate. No arrests have been made.
