A 33-year-old who is accused of stabbing and robbing a man is to face trial by judge and jury.
Lance Robinson is accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and robbery at Mannington Park on Sunday, August 6.
He is said to have taken two mobile phones from the same man he is accused of assaulting, allegations his lawyer says he denies.
No charges were put to the defendant, who has yet to enter a plea, after a problem with the videolink meant he did not appear for the hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Monday, January 22, and remanded Robinson, of Cheltenham, in custody until then.
