A MAN who is accused of sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl is to face trial by judge and jury.
Clifford Pilley pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual assault of a child under 13 when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
Pilley, 57, is said to have molested the girl on Wednesday, May 31, and more than once earlier in the month.
Judge Robert Pawson adjourned the case to Monday, November 20, and released Pilley, of Home Farm, Highworth, on bail until then.
