OUTLANDS, an extraordinary triple bill of contemporary dance by India and the UK’s most up and coming female choreographers, will be performed at Swindon Dance tomorrow.

The show celebrates up and coming female choreographers and this unique one-off programme of work features Hemabharathy Palani, Roonita Mookerji and a guest choreographer from the UK, to mark the deep cultural ties between India and the UK as part of UK-India Year of Culture 2017.

2Faced Dance Company launched The BENCH UK in 2015, to address the challenges that female choreographers face in the UK. They soon realised that these challenges are mirrored in many other countries around the world, and branched out to tackle gender inequality in dance internationally – as part of the British Council’s UK/India 2017 season, and thanks to Reimagine India funding from Arts Council England.

The show begins at 7.30pm at the venue in Regent Circus. Tickets are £7 to £11. To book, call 01793 601700 or visit www.swindondance.org.uk.
