POLICE are appealing for witnesses following after racially-aggravated criminal damage in Shrivenham.
Between 11am and 11.49am on Tuesday, September, 26, anti-Islamic racial graffiti was written on the 'Welcome to Shrivenham' road sign in Longcot Road.
Investigating officer PC Michael Goodenough, based at Faringdon police station, said: "I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information which could help the investigation.
"This is the second such incident in three months.
"This can cause distress to people in the community and will not be tolerated."
