TK Maxx and Homesense is recalling various Bite Fuel Protein Granola Trail Mixes because they contain milk and oats which are incorrectly labelled.

This means these products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents and/or oats or gluten.

The affected products are 311g packs of Bite Fuel Protein Granola Trail Mix – Red Berry, Banana Apple, Blue Mango and Pina Colada - all with best before dates of May 20 2018 and May 24 2018.

A food Standards Agency spokesman said: "TK Maxx and Homesense is recalling the above products from customers and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought any of the products.

"These products contain milk and oats making them a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents and/or oats or gluten.

"If you have bought any of the above products and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents and/or oats or gluten, do not eat them. Instead return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund."

No other Bite Fuel products are known to be affected
