A MAN fell to the ground unconscious after being attacked outside Burger King on Queen's Drive.

The man was hit by one member of a group of youths at around 6pm on Saturday, September 23, and the youths fled after the assault.

The victim regained consciousness and was taken by ambulance to Great Western Hospital for a check-up which revealed that he was not seriously injured.

Police are appealing for witnesses and have issued a picture of a group of males they want to speak to in relation to the incident.
