A ROBBERY victim suffered a cut head after she was targeted by a man in a white estate car in Peatmoor.

The 21-year-old woman was in Swinley Drive at 9.30am on Saturday when a man pulled up and asked for directions before getting out of the car, threatening her and demanding money.

After giving the man £20 she was shoved to the ground causing a cut to her head. The robber drove off in the direction of Purton.

PC Pete Fennel said: "The victim was left extremely upset by this incident, luckily she wasn't seriously injured.

"We are carrying out a full investigation and I'd like to appeal for any witnesses or anyone who may have been in the area at the time to get in touch via 101."

The suspect is described as mixed race Asian, aged late 20s to early 30s and of medium but muscular build.

He was clean shaven with dark hair and wearing a mid-grey hooded top and matching jogging bottoms. He spoke with an Asian accent.
