A MAN who is accused of being involved in a stabbing at the Esso garage on Fleming Way is to face trial by judge and jury.
Nico Bayes pleaded not guilty to a charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
The 20-year-old, of Bow Court, is said to have taken part in the incident on Monday, October 9.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Monday March 26 and remanded him in custody until then.
A second man, Dean Bradbury, 35, of Swindon Road, faces the same allegation but the charge has yet to be put to him and he is also remanded in custody.
