LOTS of little ones lined up to visit Santa at his grotto in Grange Infants School on Tuesday and Wednesday.
All 247 pupils at the school met jolly old St Nick and received plenty of presents to take home with them.
Many of the youngsters took a break from their dress rehearsals for the school's nativity play to see him.
Headteacher Louise Dance was glad Santa could find time in his busy schedule to drop by.
She said: "It was lovely, everyone was so excited and the elves entertained the kids with songs while they were waiting.
"It's a little bit of magic at a cold time of year."
The visit was organised by the school's parent-teacher association Friends Of Grange Schools.
Louise added: "They are amazing.
This group raises thousands of pounds for us each year and runs all sorts of lovely things for our school throughout the year.
"We are very lucky to have them, I'm overwhelmed by the support we receive from them."
Grange Infants School's nativity play will be held next Tuesday morning.
