A MAN was taken to hospital with “life-changing” injuries, following a crash on the A419 last night.

Police were called to the accident on the A419 northbound, north of the Dorcan turning, shortly after 11.40pm on Friday.

The 32-year-old driver of a black Renault Clio involved in the collision was taken to Bristol’s Southmead Hospital with “life-changing” injuries, police said.

PC Williamson of the Roads Policing Unit said: “Anyone with information about the collision should contact myself or PC Williams or the Collision Investigation Team at police headquarters in Devizes on 101.”
