A WOMAN was cut free from her car after a crash near Faringdon.

999 crews were called to the accident on the B4508 at around 6pm on Friday evening.

Stratton firefighters joined their Oxfordshire colleagues to cut a woman from her car using hydraulic cutting equipment. She was left in the care of paramedics.

Thames Valley Police closed the road for two-and-a-half hours last night while they dealt with the crash.

The B4508 – Fernham Road – was reopened at 8.30pm.
