A driving school has become the only company which offers crowd-funded driving lessons in Wiltshire.

Midrive works in partnership with Fundrazr to try to make lessons more affordable for young learners with limited disposable income.

The driving education platform encourages its clients to reach out to family and friends to pay for the lessons.

In exchange for the money, Midrive suggests that the teens pay their relatives and mates back by doing household chores, offering lifts when they get their licence, or other favours.

With over 1,500 instructors across the UK, Midrive are able to provide an instructor tailored to each learner driver's needs.

Instant lesson reports are generated through a combination of smart technology and detailed instructor feedback to give the clients the best feedback possible as quickly as possible.

A spokesperson for Midrive said: "Over the past few years, crowdfunding has proven extremely valuable and versatile.

"Start-up businesses, charitable causes, theatre productions, personal projects, and band tours, are now all frequently brought to fruition through crowdfunding platforms.

"Midrive are the first and only driving education platform to offer crowdfunded lessons in Wiltshire.

"We’re making it easy for learner drivers to access a high-quality service whilst simultaneously removing the cost obstacle.

"Midrive brings learning to drive into the 21st century with an innovative approach to an industry which for far too long has been behind the times."
