It’s curtains for Hook

THIS year’s sell-out pantomime extravaganza, the Wyvern Theatre’s hit Peter Pan, has just three days left to run.

Eastenders’ Adam Woodyatt – also known as Ian Beale and, in this show, swash-buckling pirate villain Captain Hook – is the celebrity star who will soon be hanging up his hook and taking off the moustache for the very last time.

The high-flying pantomime adventure, about the boy who never grows up, has performances at 1pm and 7pm today and tomorrow, and its final flings at 1pm and 5pm on Sunday.

All tickets have sold out for the last weekend of the popular panto – which offers an unforgettable mix of sumptuous costumes, beautiful sets, slapstick comedy, terrible jokes and audience interaction. Oh yes it does!

The production has enjoyed rave reviews, with Antony Lawrence winning the hearts of panto-goers night after night as reluctant pirate henchman Smee. Ryan Anderson plays the dashing Peter Pan with plenty of aerial adventures.

Danielle Black is a charismatic Tigerlily and Abigail Matthews plays the role of the fairy Tinkerbell, giving her plenty of edge and attitude.

With sell-out performances, you would be hard pressed to find a ticket now – but if you are lucky enough to have or acquire one, you are in for a family treat.
