TWO men who are accused of taking part in the rape of a woman are to face trial by judge and jury.
Gregory Smith, 22, and Joshua Hargreaves, 19, both pleaded not guilty to carrying out the sex attack over a weekend last month.
Both men denied rape and Hargreaves also denied aiding an abetting rape when the pair appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
Smith, of Pritchard Close, Kingsdown, and Hargreaves, of Holbein Square, Grange Park, are said to have carried out the alleged offences on Saturday, December 2, into the following day.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Monday, July 2, and released the pair on conditional bail until then.
