COMMUTERS faced delays this morning, as Thames Water roadworks began on Bath Road.
Three-way traffic lights have been erected on the roundabout with Eastcott Road.
Thames Water say the works are to replace a valve that controls the flow of water to a nearby property.
The valve has been replaced, with Thames Water officers now having to repair the road surface.
A spokeswoman said workers hoped to be finished tomorrow.
However, the water company have until Friday, January 19 to complete the works.
