RESIDENTS in Stratton and South Marston have been invited to a drop-in session to analyse plans for the New eastern Villages development.
Ward councillors John Haines, Russell Holland and Colin Lovell are organising the event as a way of eliciting people’s views on various infrastructure proposals.
Council officers will also be there to answer any technical questions.
Councillor Holland said: “Your Conservative councillors have been working on this issue for many months to make sure that Stratton residents are not adversely affected by any plans to build 7,500 new homes nearby.
“I can confirm that as part of any changes, Ermin Street will remain open.
“I would encourage residents to come to the drop in session so that they can have all the facts and ask officers for more information.”
The session takes place at Coleview Community Centre on Tuesday, January 23 from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.
Residents will be able to see the plans for the New Eastern Villages as well as infrastructure designs.
