A man has been assaulted in an incident of road rage in Manchester Road.
The incident took place at the the junction of Gladstone Street and Manchester Road, at around 9:30pm on 16 January.
Following a dispute over driving, a man in his 40s, who was driving a black BMW, was approached by a man who assaulted him with an unknown weapon. He sustained minor injuries.
The assaulter then kicked the victim’s car, denting it. He then left the scene in a dark grey Audi.
The suspect has been described as Asian, aged in his mid- to late-20s, and of slender to medium build. He is approximately 5'10" , and has short dark hair. He is believed to have been wearing a burgundy hooded top.
It is believed there were approximately three or four others in the vehicle.
