A VAN driver walked away uninjured after his Renault left the A420 - and came to rest in a field.
The driver, a man in his 40s, escaped the crash without injury, police said.
Officers from both Thames Valley Police and Wiltshire Police were called to the crash near Shrivenham shortly after 4am this morning.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said that a Renault van had gone into a field after coming off the road. No other vehicles were involved.
The road was clear by 6.30am.
The crash caused delays for commuters, with police closing the road at Acorn Bridge. The Stagecoach 66 service between Oxford and Swindon was diverted through Highworth.
