A few minutes later a high ball went over the top from Mansfield which Kane Hemmings got on to but his cheeky attempt went just over the bar.
In the 18th minute Town hit the outside netting after Matty Taylor drilled in a low and hard cross which found Timi Elsnik who hit the outside of the net.
After a nice spell of possession for the Robins, Keshi Anderson dodged past one man and hit a ferocious shot from the edge the box which was well saved.
In the 38th minute Town opened the scoring after a nice play from Anderson and Elsnik and Taylor smashed home to get Town a deserved first goal.

Fifteen minutes into the second half a high ball went in from Reice Charles-Cook which found Anderson who hit it first time which was tipped just over the bar, although he was offside.
Ten minutes later Anderson had his tidy header cleared of the line by a Mansfield defender.
Swindon continued to dominate the game leaving little chance for Mansfield to get a shot away.

Full-time: Swindon 1 Mansfield 0
Keshi Anderson was my man of the Match because he was at the centre of our goal and showed superb quality in attack.
