The owner of one of Swindon's principal bus providers, Thamesdown, has appointed a new operations director.
Go South Coast, owned by Go-Ahead Group, has appointed David Lee-Kong into the role.
David said: “I am thrilled to be joining the award-winning team at Go South Coast at this exciting time for the company.”
The managing director of Go South Coast, Andrew Wickham, said. “This is an excellent appointment, and we are delighted that David is joining our team to oversee the operations of all our individual operators along the south coast.”
“I have no doubt that David’s leadership skills, experience and professionalism will be a huge asset to our team, and I’m looking forward to welcoming him when he joins us in May.”
David began his career in 2004 as a graduate trainee with Stagecoach in Cheltenham and Gloucester. He has since held a number of management posts with the operator and is currently operations director for Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire.
