Honda has had a shortage supply of parts being delivered to its manufacturing plant in South Marston.
This has meant that staff in certain departments have had no work made available to them.
A spokesperson at Honda said: “Honda is currently experiencing partially reduced production operations, in some areas of the business, due to parts shortages.
“This is following the recent adverse weather conditions, which had an impact on some of the supply chain logistics to the factory.”
“Honda is constantly monitoring the situation and working with its suppliers to minimise the impact on production.”
