Knife charge

COURT: Scott Cadder is to face a judge at Swindon Crown Court charged with having a knife in a public place.

Cadder, 31, of Fairfax Close, is accused of having the folding knife with a blade longer than three inches when he was in Frobisher Drive on September 14. Swindon magistrates granted him unconditional bail until his crown court appearance on March 23.

Drugs trial date

COURT: Magistrates have sent Chloe Hallinan for trial at Swindon Crown Court after she denied a charge of possessing a quantity of herbal cannabis.

Hallinan, 29, of Dalton Close elected trial by jury when she appeared before Swindon magistrates. She was granted unconditional bail until March 23 when she is due to be at the crown court.

GBH case set

COURT: Dean Maundrell and Christopher Rimes will appear at Swindon Crown Court charged with causing grievous bodily harm, assault the same victim with intent to rob.

Maundrell, 29 and Rimes, 38, both of Brendon Walk, Park North, are set to appear in the dock on March 23. Swindon magistrates granted both men unconditional bail.

Breach costs £100

COURT: Swindon magistrates bound over Ross McCulloch in the sum of £100 for causing a breach of the peace in Durrington Drive on January 28.

The defendant, 31, of Ramsbury Avenue was told the bind over would last for six months.

COURT: Drug dealer Ian Waithaka is to be sentenced at Swindon Crown Court after he pleaded guilty to possessing a quantity of cannabis with intent to supply.

Waithaka, 18, of Faringdon Road, was allowed unconditional bail by Swindon magistrates until the hearing on March 23.
