FROM The Jam, a band comprised of legendary former bassist Bruce Foxton, from iconic rock band The Jam, with vocalist and guitarist Russell Hastings, drummer Mike Randon, and Andy Fairclough on Hammond and piano, will be playing at Swindon’s MECA next week.

Over the past 11 years From The Jam have played nearly a thousand headline shows across the UK. They have built up a reputation for incendiary live performances, reminiscent of those that built the reputation of The Jam many years ago.

In 2007, Russell Hastings was fronting The Gift when he was joined on stage by Bruce Foxton, who was touring with Casbah Club, for a one-off performance.

This sparked the genesis of From The Jam, and an enduring partnership between Foxton and Hastings.

Join the band for a night of classic hits to take you straight back into the early 80s, such as Down in the Tube Station at Midnight, Going Underground, Town Called Malice and the Modern World.

The show, dubbed The Public Gets What The Public Wants, takes place at MECA on Friday 30 March and tickets are £21. To book, visit mecaswindon.co.uk.
