Motorhome crash blocks M4
FIREFIGHTERS rescued a person who was trapped in a motorhome following a crash on the M4 this afternoon.
Crews from Swindon, Royal Wootton Bassett and Westlea were called to the scene on the westbound carriageway of the motorway just after 2.30pm and used cutting gear to free the casualty who was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
The crash happened between junctions 16 and 17 and completely blocked the carriageway for a time.
All three lanes are now open.
