A 60-YEAR-OLD Swindon man has been injured after being hit by a cyclist on Cheney Manor Road.

Around 4pm on Sunday March 11, the victim was walking on the pavement near his home when he collided with a man cycling on the pavement.

The pedestrian fell and sustained a serious hip injury which required hospital treatment

The cyclist stopped and gave his details.

PC Simon Talbot said: "We'd like to hear from anyone who may have seen this collision on this Sunday - especially as it's a busy main road and someone may have seen or heard this incident.

"We'd also like to speak to another male cyclist who was not involved but who stopped to help the injured pedestrian - if that was you, please come forward."
