COURT: Kevin Davies, 43, of Wilmot Close in Royal Wootton Bassett was given a 26-week prison sentence which has been suspended for 24 months after being three times over the drink-drive limit.

Davies pleaded guilty to driving on Shelley Avenue on February 13 without insurance while having 112 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath in his system.

He was also disqualified from driving for 52 months and was given a community order with a six-month alcohol treatment order, a rehab activity requirement, and 120 hours of unpaid work.

He appeared before magistrates last month and was ordered to pay £85 in costs and £115 to victim services.

COURT: Matthew Iles, 25, of Twickenham Close in Swindon has been given a community order after pleading guilty to an assault charge.

He beat his victim on November 27 2017 and pleaded guilty to damaging a bedroom door belonging to the woman on the same day.

He was tried separately for another assault charge, where he admitted to beating the same person again on February 17 this year, and for this he must pay £85 in costs.

His community order includes 180 hours of unpaid work, an alcohol treatment requirement, and up to 20 rehab activity days.

Iles must also pay £135 in costs and £115 to victim services.

COURT: Lukasz Jedras, 29, from Kościelna in Poland has been fined £923 after pleading guilty to failing to provide a breath sample in relation to a driving offence on March 10 in Swindon.

The incident involved a collision with parked vehicles while he was driving a lorry.

For this, he was also disqualified from driving for 36 months and must pay £85 in costs and £92 to victim services.
