A TEENAGER who drove over the speed limit while on drugs has been fined £254 for drug-driving and £169 for speeding.
James Cooper, 19, of Cricklade Road pleaded guilty to driving along Thamesdown Drive at 64mph with 6.3microgrammes of cannabis per litre of blood in his system - three times the legal limit.
The offence occurred at around 9.45pm on January 12 2018 and two police officers caught him while speed-checking vehicles then smelled cannabis when they spoke to him.
He has been disqualified from driving for 12 months and must also pay £85 in costs and £30 to victim services.
