SWINDON rail commuters face delays of up to an hour – with rail chiefs blaming signalling problems.
National Rail said: “A fault with the signalling system at Swindon means all lines are blocked.
“Train services running through this station may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.”
The disruption is expected to last until 5pm.
Update: Train lines are now open, although passengers should expect delays from late-running trains.
Following earlier signalling problems, all lines through Swindon have re-opened. Residual delays will occur as service recovers.
