A MAN killed in a crash involving a Swindon driver has been named.

The motorcyclist, Kevin McGarvey, 35, from Thame, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family said: “Missing you already. Always in our thoughts.”

Police said that Kevin was travelling south along the A338 near Newton Toney, Wiltshire, when his Suzuki 600 motorcycle hit a blue Fiat Punto travelling in the same direction.

The driver of the Fiat, a 30-year-old Swindon woman, escaped the crash uninjured.

A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said that officers continued to investigate the cause of the crash, which took place at around 11.10am on Sunday, April 22. “Our thoughts are with Kevin’s family and friends,” he added.

No arrests have been made.
