A TEENAGE singer-songwriter from Swindon will be showcasing a night of young Wiltshire artists on Sunday to raise money for charity.

Lottie Jenkins, 14, known as Lottie J to her fans, is hosting the night at 20@ The Kings, Wood Street.

She will be playing alongside other young artists from Wiltshire such as Burbank and George Wilding as well as 12-year-old Mitizi Irish from Cornwall.

Lottie has been writing songs for several years and has made it into the top 10 of the Song Academy’s Singer Songwriter Competition 2018.

She performed her first song on stage in a concert at Commonweal Performing Arts Academy in Swindon,

he told the Advertiser: “I’ve always had this urge to sing. If I’m sad about something, then I just put all of the emotions and write it into a song.”

Tickets for the event between 4.30 and 7pm cost £5 and will raise money for charity Lisa’s Army UK, and Jessie May Children’s hospice, a charity that provides home care for terminally ill for children in Bristol.
