WITH the Royal wedding just five days away, here’s where can you watch it locally.

In Swindon there will be a host of pubs such as the Tawny Owl, Blunsdon Arms, The Dockle, Sun Inn, Yates, The Merlin, The Messenger, The Old Boathouse, Brookhouse Farm, The Woodlands Edge, The Abbey Mead, The Churchill, The Prince of Wales and The Royal Oak all be showing the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

And pubs will be allowed to stay open later than usual to give everyone a chance to celebrate.

Hours will be extended to 1am instead of the usual 11pm on the Friday and Saturday nights without having to apply for an extension.

Some pubs have even made their own drinks in celebration of the wedding.

Yates’s has put its own twist on two popular cocktails with a Ginger Mojito and Markle Martini.

The Messenger has a special edition ale just for the event called Something Borrowed, Something Brewed.

The congregation will start arriving from 9.30am, and the royals from 11.20am. The service begins at noon and the newlyweds will emerge from the chapel at 1pm.
