COURT: Drink-driver Annie Green was banned from getting behind the wheel for 14 months by Swindon magistrates after she was caught in Wood Street.

The 31-year-old, of East Street, admitted being over the alcohol limit on April 15. Breath tests revealed a level of 45 microgrammes of alcohol in her system. The legal limit is 35mg. She was fined £80 with another £30 towards victim services and £85 prosecution costs.

COURT: Magistrates fined Kevin Scott £40 after he pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour in Swindon on April 13. Scott, 38, of no fixed address, was ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £50 towards prosecution costs.

Over the limit

COURT: A drink-driver who failed to stop her car for police following an accident on the B4192 in Swindon, has been disqualified for 15 months.

Swindon magistrates heard Giselle White, 31, of Rous Road, Newmarket, Suffolk, went through a red light on October 8 and failed to stop after causing damage to another car. She admitted the allegations along with not stopping for police and having a level of 125 milligrammes of alcohol in her blood when the legal limit is 80mg.

She was fined £254 with a £30 victim surcharge and costs of £85.

COURT: Magistrates banned Casey Stratford of Springfield Road, from driving for the next three years after he was convicted of failing to provide a breath specimen.

Stratford, 24, who is also known by the surname Laughlin, admitted the charge. The Swindon bench fined him £270 and told him to pay £115 in victim surcharge and court costs.
